Honda is a Japanese company and has been traditionally producing its cars in Japan until it decided to produce the accord model of cars in the United States. That was way back in 1982. Honda has always been known to be a producer of mid size and full size automobiles ever since its inception several years back.

Honda accord 2003 is actually one of the seventh generation vehicles in Honda rankings. The car was produced in two models, one for north America and another for European and Japanese markets . While that one for Japanese and the European market was launched in 2002, the one for north American market was not launched until 2003.

Like the rest of Honda accords before it, the  Honda accord 2003 model is known for its wonderful build quality and long term reliability. Some critics may have their own reservations about but the Honda has shown reliable reliability matching if not surpassing earlier models.

The styling of the Honda Accord 2003 is slightly different from  earlier accord cars, in fact it can be said to be the most debated styling in accords three decade existence in the US market. Other than the styling, the Honda accord 2003 comprises of most of the other elements found in the rest of the Honda accords.

The car gives you a choice when it comes to engines and the transmissions. You can choose the 4-cylinder engine or the V6 engine. You can choose manual transmission or the automatic transmission. The 4 cylinder engine gives you 160 horse power and is a   2.4 liter engine while the V6 is a 3.0 liter engine and has 240 horsepower. The five speed manual is standard in four cylinder models while the five speed automatic is optional in the four cylinder cars and standard in the V6 models.

Traditionally the Honda Company has been known for roomy front, rears seat accommodation and comfortable and confident rides. The Honda Accord 2003  was designed to be more passionate and emotional. The car can be mated at 5 speed manual or five speeds automatic.

Honda paired the V6 model engine with an electric motor. This easily makes it the most powerful accord model in line up with the 255 horsepower.

The 4 cylinder engines naturally consume less power as compared to the V6. It is estimated that the vehicle consumes around 9 liters per a hundred kilometers on manual transmission and around 10 liters per the same number of kilometers on automatic transmission driving in a city. This goes down to 6.3 liters and 6.5 liters respectively while on the highway.

The V6 consumes a little bit more, consuming around 11.5 liter per a hundred kilometers in the city and around 7.3 liter per same distance on the highway for both the automatic and manual transmission.

Its functional control layout and the high quality switchgear make it a good ride. The steering wheel controls offer both audio and cruise control functions make it easy very user friendly.

In short the Honda accord 2003 can be described as a car with tight build, refined power trains, one with a comfortable interior and an outstanding optional navigation system.
